It is truly an honor to be given the opportunity to lead this district,
a district and community that I love and have been a part of for the past 17 years." - Kevin Alfano

The Fife School Board took action at a recent Special Board Meeting and named Kevin Alfano Interim Superintendent.
Mr. Alfano has spent the past 17 years in our district as a teacher, principal, and most recently served as Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education.

Please read the message sent to our district staff from School Board President, Bob Scheidt:

Dear Fife District Staff -

We are pleased to announce that following last night’s board meeting, we selected Kevin Alfano as our Interim Superintendent.  We are grateful for the input we received from the community, parents, and staff members last evening.

We have full confidence in Kevin’s ability to lead our district. We've watched his work as an assistant superintendent this past year, the extra leadership roles he's taken on throughout the past several months during John's absence, and have been nothing but impressed. We have full faith the district is in very capable hands as we move forward.

As we announced last evening, we will immediately begin the next phase of our superintendent work.  We look forward to an open and transparent process.

We thank all of you for the great start to the school year - especially in the midst of the loss we've all experienced. We look forward to moving ahead together.

Bob Scheidt
Fife School Board President

Congratulations Mr. Alfano!
