Lesson Design:

Students were asked to respond to a prompt. What is your favorite candy and/or candy bar? They were to answer in paragraph form. The need for a Main Idea sentence and then some back up reasoning was discussed. (details) The teacher is looking for proper paragraph form, as well as content. The students were graded on a five point rubric.
