Playing
to Learn -- An afternoon was spent throughout Surprise Lake Middle
School classes working on logic and spatial reasoning puzzles,
and mathematics challenges to get kids thinking "outside-of-the-box".
The afternoon started out with an assembly to kick off the WASL
testing period and explain the Games Assembly plan for the
afternoon. Afterward, students were dismissed to their classes
where they had a chance to experience four types of mind- challenging
games and puzzles. Students and teachers alike were engaged and
active. Look at the wonderful minds at work.
