PIE Committee Job Descriptions

Book Fairs – Two book fairs are held each year in the Fall & Spring.  If you would enjoy helping set- up merchandise or selling - contact the Book Fair chair.

You can support the book fair by buying books for your student which helps earn books and reading supplies for the SMLS library.

Box Tops – Collect and send them to school with your student.  Classes compete for the most collected.  This is an easy way to further support our library. 

Fundraiser - Entertainment Books – Support our only major fundraiser held in September and October.  Come help with sales and distribution to students during mornings before school.  Entertainment Books are a great value and provide funds for the entire school year of P.I.E. purchases and activities.

Saber Wear – Available during Open House, some school events and always at the Student Store during lunch hours – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Staff Appreciation – Monthly events are held to appreciate school staff.  There are plenty of opportunities to show your support!  Contact committee chair for more information.

Student Store – Come help run the store where students can buy school supplies, tri-folds, drinks, and lunch snacks Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during lunch time.  Volunteer your help for a certain day every week, every other week, once a month or sign-up as substitute.  Contact committee chair for more information.

Sunshine Fund – We provide gifts and cards for events that affect school staff. 

Volunteer Coordinator – Keeps an up to date list of available volunteers and solicits their help as needed.  Sign up at school events or contact committee chair to offer your help.
