For the past 18 years, Fife Police Officer Jeff Sterba, has helped equip our fifth graders with the life skills needed to resist peer pressure to experiment with drugs and alcohol through his role as the DARE Officer.

He has impacted over 3,500 students with his engaging manner, storytelling, and captivating songs.

December 13, Officer Sterba held the last of his yearly DARE graduations, after recently announcing his retirement.  A gym full of proud parents and community members proudly listened as this year's graduates shared from their hearts all they had learned this year through this fantastic program.

Thank you Officer Jeff for sharing yourself with us all these years - the healthy and happy citizens you have helped to shape will be the legacy you leave behind.
