We strongly encourage ALL families/caregivers to submit a Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit Application (formerly called the Free & Reduced Meal Application) - accessed on this page OR online through Family Access in Skyward - whether or not you feel there is a need for meal benefits for your family or if you would qualify. This form is used to provide access to a multitude of benefits for your student, including:
- Associated Student Body (ASB) card fee - as well as entrance fees for home games and ASB events and field trips
- ASB club dues or memberships, fees for competitions and conferences, as well as transportation costs
- Parents/guardians and elementary-age students qualify to enter ASB-sponsored events for free or at a reduced rate
- SAT/ACT test and college application fee waivers and reduced Advanced Placement (AP) test fees
- Right At School enrichment program tuition - may be reduced or waived-in-full
Completing the application takes less than 10 minutes and families/caregivers only need to complete one meal application for their entire family. Once you submit an application, you will receive a notice by mail whether your student(s) can receive free or reduced meals and/or other benefits.

If you would like to allow the Fife School District Food & Nutrition Services Program permission to use the information provided on this application to determine and/or share your child’s eligibility for fee waivers or reductions to participate in optional non-credit activities, please make sure to complete the Consent for Release form included in the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit Application in the forms container above. Fee waivers or reductions would apply to ASB cards, ASB club dues, ASB field trips, and other optional non-credit activities (ex: dances, home games, plays, and competitions, and/or conferences).
