Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Fife Public Schools!

It is a great honor to serve as the Interim Superintendent of Fife Public Schools. I am excited to return to the district and am grateful to the board for their confidence and trust in me to lead the district.  I am looking forward to reconnecting with our staff, families, communities, and - most importantly - our students. Fife has been a special part of my career, and I am energized by the work to come in the 2026-27 school year!  

My focus is simple: provide stability, support our schools, and keep our attention where it belongs - on student success. As we begin the school year, I am committed to ensuring our schools have the support and leadership needed to serve our students well. We will continue to focus on high-quality instruction, strong relationships, and creating learning environments where every student feels supported, challenged, and valued.

We will continue our work around Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), strengthening collaboration among staff and ensuring we are focused on the learning needs of every student. We will also continue to strengthen our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) so that students receive the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports they need to be successful. These efforts are designed to help us better identify student needs, respond with timely interventions, and ensure that every student has access to the support necessary to reach their full potential. Through all of this work, we will continue creating learning environments where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and be successful. 

We have dedicated teachers and staff, supportive families, and outstanding students. Those strengths are what make Fife a special place. Together, we will continue building on the strong foundation that already exists throughout the district while maintaining our focus on continuous improvement. By working collaboratively and keeping students at the center of our decisions, we can continue to create opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and succeed. I am confident we will have a successful year and continue the tradition of excellence that our community expects and deserves.

In the coming weeks, I look forward to meeting with staff, families, students, and community members to listen, learn, and strengthen our partnerships. Open communication and collaboration will be priorities throughout my time in this role.
