Are you interested in representing District 3 on our school board?

Fife Public Schools is currently seeking applications for the position of Director District 3 on our school board, following Board Policy 1114 and Procedure 1114P. Read below for more information about our associated timeline and application procedure.

Responsibilities of the School Board Include:
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate the superintendent
- Set the vision, mission, and strategic goals for the district
- Review, revise, and adopt policies
- Establish and oversee the budget
- Serve as community representatives
- Monitor the district's progress towards its goals

Timeline for Selection Process:
- Applications will open November 7 - December 20, 2024
- Screening of applicants will be January 6-10, 2025
- Interviews for selected candidates will be conducted January 13, 2025
- Oath of Office for selected candidate will be held January 27, 2025 during the January Regular Board Meeting
