Congratulations to our CJH and FHS BSU (Black Student Union) Leaders who received the WASA Region 111 Student Leadership Award last week!
From Superintendent Alfano:
“As the Superintendent of Fife Public Schools, I belong to the Washington Association of School Administrators aka WASA for short. Within WASA, I am also a member of our local chapter that represents all school administrators in Pierce County called WASA Region 111.
Each
year the members of WASA 111 nominate student leaders from the school districts within our county. Specifically we "recognize outstanding student leaders who have created or played a significant leadership role in initiatives or programs that promote inclusivity, access, equity, or social justice in their school and community." As leaders at CJH and FHS this is the definition of your work!”
